Default Strange Calendar Free/Busy Issue (Scheduling)

My manager's calendar is mysteriously marked a "busy" for a
period of about 4 months - beginning of August through the
end of November. The problem is that there is no meeting
(that I can see) that is marking him as such, which could
be deleted to remedy the problem. His calendar looks
normal when you open it in either the day, week, month,
etc. view. However, when you go to schedule a meeting with
him using the scheduling tab, his time shows as "busy" from
12 a.m. until 12 p.m. every day for August through
November. Because I have access to his calendar, I can see
his specific free/busy information in this view, but the
strange thing is, is that the bar above ALL meeting
participants still shows a busy throughout the entire
Aug-Nov timeframe.
This is causing a huge problem for anyone trying to
schedule a meeting with him. It's baffling me and he's
tasked me with fixing it.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

You could start the bosses outlook with this switch that you run from the
run command, go to Start Run type "outlook /cleanfreebusy" without the
quotes. Also try changing the view if you can see any entries for the
period, an Advanced search could also help.
