Default Unable to access calendar

I am using Outlook with Business Contact Manager on a
Dell Pentium 4 machine with 1 GB memory.

After entering a date into my calendar and sending an
email, I was unable to access the calendar. Outlook
closed with the message "Outlook encountered a problem
and will close." Upon reopening Outlook, the calendar is
still unavailable.

I have restarted Outlook and rebooted the machine; I also
have repaired the database, all to no avail.

In addition, every time I rebuild the database I get
additional contacts and calendar folders that have no
entries. I have been deleting these additional folders.

Can someone guide me to appropriate fixes?

Sheila R.
