how to disable showing popup calendar details
Hi, I work in an IT Dept and have come accross a privacy
issue within my firm. When Setting up a meeting request it enables me to see whether or not people are busy or free when you click on the scheduling tab. But what has just come to our attention is that Office 2003 has enabled you to view briefly what other attendees apointments detail. In my firm security and privacy is a big issue. I was wondering if there is any way of disabling this function without having to hack the registry for all users in the domain? |

No, it can be toggled on or off under the users Outlook Calendar options.
You would need to use a registry hack or redeploy Outlook using a GPO or the Resource Kit to remove this ability. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact.
