How to unhide a working email password
I am moving my mother to a newer computer and she cannot recall what password
is represented by the "********" saved password for one of her email accounts. Is there a way to ask Outlook to UNHIDE the password? Is there any way to retrieve the password that Outlook has stored or to move email account info from one computer to another (Outlook to Outlook)? |

Basically no, the account settings are stored in the registry, there are a
number of tools that claim to be able to recover / reveal the settings - see google for examples. The FilesAndSettingsTransfer wizard (FAST), if available for your version of office/win invariably corrupts the target outlook profile "Eric Lewis" wrote in message ...
