Default Importing Contacts

I just changed jobs and exported my contacts out of outlook 2003 when i left.
I am now trying to import the contacts into outlook 2003. I can get all the
information except the email addresses. When I open the excel file the email
addresses are there. Please help.

Thanks,

Default Importing Contacts

#1 - Are you manually mapping the fields or letting Outlook auto-map?
#2 - Check the field mapping - (click on Map Custom Fields
- a) make sure the Email address from Excel is mapped to the
Email Address field and not Email (expand Email and
you'll see the sub-fields)

- b) if these are standard SMTP addresses (i.e.
(i.e. ) then there should be
nothing mapped to the Email Type field and
Email Display Name fields - the latter 2 fields will be
auto-filled with the correct values
