Can anyone tell me how do I freeze the way I have a layout in word? I have a
referral sheet that we are constantly having to type info into and as we type the words and such also move. Is there any way to type in the info and keep everything in its place without having to backspace or delete to get the info back to the correct place? Here is an example of how it is set up.... Clients Name: MALE FEMALE DOB: Primary Language: Monolingual: Y___N___ Address/Location: HomeTelephone: Cross Streets: ______ WorkTelephone: Social Security #: Cell Telephone: as i am typing in the info the next line moves .... i hope i didnt confuse you all to bad! thx... |

There are lots of ways to do forms (search in this forum for links to very
good tutorials), but one really basic way to do it would be to set up your form in a table, instead of free-form text and then your users could just tab from cell to cell... Personally, I'd put the labels in one cell of the table and leave the adjacent (next to or below) cell blank for data entry.
