Default headers in a doc with section breaks

Hi- I have a doc which has pages both portrait and landscape- so I have had
to put in breaks to allow. I have a header and footer, which I do not want
on the first page. I have done the correct thing; header different first
page- BUT it also takes away the header on the first page of each new section
break.
Help- it is driving me bananas!!!
Thanks.

For the added sections, you can clear the "Different first page"
option (in FilePage Setup, Layout tab).

Alternatively (if you need different first page headers and footers in
subsequent sections too), remove the link to the first section: On the
View menu, click Header and Footer. On the Header/Footer toolbar, turn
off the "Same as Previous" setting for First Page Headers and First
Page Footers.
