Can i ditch IE7 and go back to IE6 ?
You can remove IE7 and restore IE6 using Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs.

Have you actually done this Jim or is it a theoretical 'can be done'? I
tried that and it didn't work for me. It just complained that a later version was installed and refused to go any further. Regards. Worked for me on an XP machine without a problem. Following the reboot, IE6
was there as it had been while it sounds like you tried to "reinstall" a version which is not needed. For added info on installing, etc., see the info at this link: http://msmvps.com/blogs/spywaresucks...18/182724.aspx -- Jim Pickering, MVP/Windows Mail applications Please reply ONLY to newsgroup. I have done the same several times. There is, I think, an undiscovered bug in the IE7 installation program since you can remove and reinstall IE7 and remove problems. -- Gene K "Jim Pickering" jimp (AT) mvps.org wrote in message ...
