Default Info on David Allenberg

Does anyone have a current e-mail address for him or have you heard from
him in the last 60 days? I know he made some enemies here, but I came to
know him well.

I believe he was having some health problems, perhaps very serious. My
e-mails to the addresses I had did not bounce back, but he has not
responded.

Yeah, it's not netiquette to suggest e-mailing my direct, but this isn't
exactly a question of "how do I do this?"

Any and all help is appreciated.

Mike

Mary,

That's one of the ones I've tried. He used two or three different ones.

And Steve in NC - yes, it's the same David.

Steve,

I know you stuck a smiley after your message, but I'm worried it may be
the opposite, or close to it. David had been having some health problems
- not sure exactly what, but I got the impression it was very
serious. He seemed to have recovered, because he started posting again.

What makes me wonder is that he was beta testing some software and his
posts just ceased - period. We even had a thread about him, and he did
not respond. That's unlike David.

He is probably in the Outback, goldmining, although he did have his
motorcycle wired for the internet.

I seem to remember that he was going to take a job out-of-country, but that
was quite a while ago.

Mike, I knew nothing about his possible health problems. And I pray
nothing but long life to him Some here used to beat up on his replies
but I always gained insight to the program from his input. That's all I
was trying to relate...

On the other hand, where 9 out of ten active posters would rant on him 1
or 2 years ago, in absentia everyone seems to love him now. (I think
David would appreciate that observation)

I still consider him a friend even though we've never ....
