I cannot install Office Professional 2007 from CDs on a Compaq laptop (with
Vista). Halfway through installation it says "Setup cannot find
ProPlus.WW\ProPlsWW.cab Browse to a valid installation source and click OK."
I can't find this or do not know where to look. How do I install this
program.

Hello Dee - I also have this exact problem. Check the tech forum to see if
any of their suggestions help you. Nothing has helped me, and I called
Microsoft - Customer Service, to complain that this problem has existed for
over a year or more, with no answers. I am not thrilled about paying for
their support when it looks like it is a bug in the software I'm sure. Let
me know if you find anything that works for you.

Hello - I managed to get around the problem by doing the following:
1- Create a folder on your hard drive - (desktop is fine) - call it office
07 and copy the contents of the cd microsoft office 2007 pro to this location.
2- Download the "missing" file from here
http://www.gegereka.com/?query=propl...20proplsww.cab
3- save it unziped on your desktop. Then unzip it to the location your drive
letter\office 07 \ProPlus.WW . This will overwrite the original file.
Run setup again and when asked for the file point it to that location.

Good luck!
