2007 Office Pro Plus Acivation
I have windows Vista and it is activated. I purchased an authentic 2007
Office Pro on disk, installed the software and keyed in the appropriate key to activate. When I use Word and attempt to download templates from word, I receive the following message “You may be a victim of software counterfeiting. The following Microsoft Office software installed on this computer is not genuine.” I then went to my computer menu, clicked on MS Office, Clicked on “Activate a purchased license of Microsoft Office, click here to enter you key.” When I click on this Work program opens up. Will not let me enter my key numbers. Went MS Help site, discussion groups, indicated my problem to Matt Prall MS. He suggested to run MGA diagnostics. Diagnostics showed Office “101 not active”. He suggested to post my problem on your news group web site. Help! Marc |

I think we both know whether or not you're using counterfeit software.
When you tell the truth, you don't need a good memory... the subject line of your post says "2007 Office Pro Plus", but the body of your post says "2007 Office Pro". Uhhh, hmmm, errr... typo... yeah that's it, it was just a typo... Office 2007 Professional Plus Edition is legitimately available only to volume-license customers. It is not intended for sale to retail consumers, and you can't buy just one license. So maybe you found one of those online deals that sound too good to be true? If you have an Office 2007 Pro disc and an Office 2007 Pro Plus key, or vice versa, you can't use them together. Marc wrote: I have windows Vista and it is activated. Many people thought they were buying genuine software only to learn it's
bootleg. How can we possibly know that you're not one of those who were mistaken unless we ask. As for speaking with Microsoft tech help, you did that earlier. Maybe you should check to see if your product is a genuine Microsoft product.

Mary:
My software is genuine. Called MS customer service and they resolved my problem. I had to unstall any previous version of MS office as 60 day trial and Ms Home and Student 2007. Then I was able to activate Ms Office Pro Plus 2007. : "Mary Sauer" wrote: Maybe you should check to see if your product is a genuine Microsoft product. http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/default.aspx -- Mary Sauer MSFT MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com "Marc" wrote in message ...
