Vertical alignment on last page of section/chapter
My customer wants every page as full as possible in his book. After hunting
around I discovered Vertical Alignment - Justified and thought I'd solved the problem. The snag is that the last page of the chapter/section is also vertically justified, with some pretty strange results depending on how full the page is. Is there a way to tell Word not to vertically justify the last page of a section? -- Terri |

Vertical alignment on last page of section/chapter
The pages will be full as possible if you leave the vertical alignment set
at Top and avoid using paragraphs that are formatted to have a Page break before them, or Keep with next or Keep lines together and probably also uncheck the Widow/Orphan control box as well so that all of the boxes are unchecked in the Pagination section of the Line and Page Breaks tab of the Format Paragraph dialog. -- Hope this helps. Vertical alignment on last page of section/chapter
Unfortunately, no. Word's Vertical Alignment feature is far from flawless.
I'd always choose "Top" for Vertical Alignment. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Terri N" wrote: My customer wants every page as full as possible in his book.
