Opening Outlook with different posting files
We are not running Exchange. Everyone (a small office) has their own copy of
Outlook 2003 and the posting files are on their PC hard drive. One user does not want to use archiving. She wants to save mail, contacts, etc as a backup posting file and have outlook open that up when she needs reference to older info. Will profiles do the trick. It would be nice if she could use the Outlook with the backup (older posting file) and not be able to download mail messages from the server but we can get around that if need be. |

Not entirely sure what you are saying; but an archive is simply another pst
file which can be opened, and remain open, within OL. The user can thus still view archived items "Flick Olmsford" wrote in message ... We are not running Exchange.
