Default Numbering shapes - Use of decimals

Is there the facility to number shapes with the Visio Add-on using a decimal
format e.g. 1, 1.1, 1.2, 2, 2.1, 2.2 etc?

If not using the add-on is there any other way?

I'd start here
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/vi...506161033.aspx

You get that format (1.1, 1.2) by selecting the preceding text box.

If not using the add-on you have the option of doing it manually, or writing
your own solution.
