Sending "Reply to Group" messages problem
Interesting problem on Win2k, IE6
When responding to a newsgroup message with reply to group Am unable to send message When send is hit, a window pops up that conatins A blue "i" in a white circle 3 buttons 1 click on-off white box Unfortunately there is ABSOLUTELY NO text in the window. There is no explanatory text There is no "Yes", "No", or "Cancel" inside the 3 buttons There is no text beside the "checkmark" box Also NONE of the controls work Consequently the reply can NOT be sent. A workaround is to save the message in the "drafts" folder, then go to the drafts folder, open the message and hit send This way the message has no problem being sent A faster approach is to do a "Find" on the "Drafts" folder. Clicking on the message present to open it, and then hitting send What is the cause of the "I" (information window) and why is it blocking the sending of a composed message when opened from a newsgroup folder ? |
