Duplex Printing Leaves Blank Pages
I have created a 9 page directory in Publisher. When I print the directory
using the duplex option with my HP deskjet 5650 printer the middle two pages of the directory are blank. Can that be fixed? |

Duplex Printing Leaves Blank Pages
Swipesy was very recently heard to
utter: I have created a 9 page directory in Publisher. When I print the directory using the duplex option with my HP deskjet 5650 printer the middle two pages of the directory are blank. Erm... this is taking three pieces of paper, correct? Can you take three pieces of scrap paper, fold them up in booklet style, and draw in numbers 1 to 9 on them where you think they should go. You end up with blank pages. Publisher doesn't know what to do with these blank pages. So it sticks them at the end of the print job, which is in the centre of the booklet. If you don't want your blank pages there, add them in your publication to make a multiple of four pages. -- Ed Bennett - MVP Microsoft Publisher |

Thank you Ed. I saw that multiple of 4's but did not understand its impact.
Now I do. Thank you for solving this problem for me. "Ed Bennett" wrote: Swipesy was very recently heard to utter: I have created a 9 page directory in Publisher.
