Calendar sharing through Microsoft closing - now what?
Time of year was a definite factor and I'm not so sure they noticed it on
their own. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Poll: What version of Outlook do you use? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=27072 "Hugh Jeego" wrote in message ... Makes me wonder why Microsoft haven't noticed this problem and come out with a fix but I guess the time of year may be why. "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote in message ... I finally got it working- but I'm not sure which step fixed it. I deleted passwords belonging to my liveid addresses in control panel, user accounts, I deleted cookies (I have 2 liveids and thought that might be causing problems), logged into office.com, signed out, closed the browser, logged back into office.com and saved the user/password == don't forget to do this. Closed the browser and outlook, opened both - it worked. I might have tried something else too - oh, I set my cookie policy in Control panel, internet options to always allow from microsoft.com and added microsoft.com to the trusted zone for browsing. I *think* deleting the cookies and closing the browser was the trick, but have no way of proving it. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Poll: What version of Outlook do you use? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=27072 "Linda R" wrote in message ... Didn't work for me either. I guess we are unpublished for a while longer. Darn! "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: Try this workaround - its supposed to work but isn't working for me. Go to office.com and sign in with the same Live ID you use to publish your calendar and select "Save my e-mail address and password", Outlook should work just fine after restarting to publish or update a subscribed calendar again, until you sign out of Office Online and/or LiveID. |
