Distribution Lists | Select Members | and | New Message To|: How do I change the default folder - Contacts - so that I don't have to select my folder from the drop down list every time?

Click Tools; Services
Click the Addressing tab you can set it in there.

Then open the Address Book from the Toolbar or Tools Menu.
