Default Prompt Date To Use In Query Formula

I have a query where I would like a date entered by the user to be used in a formula for each record. The user is prompted to enter a date, and then that date is used in a form.

The formula: [Prompt Date] - [Call Date] which would return the number of days from the date the call was made from the date entered by the user.

Seems simple, but have not been able to figure it out (if it is even possible)

Thanks.
Jeff
