Default emailing a document

Requesting help with a question, please. I'm trying to email a document I
created with Publisher. I saved the document to my "documents" folder and
attach it to my email from there. When I send the email, the editing screen
around the document goes with the document in the email. However, I want to
email just the document, not the editing screen. Any help on this would be
greatly appreciated.

Anytime you email a document or publisher file the person receiving it can
open that file and edit it unless it has been protected from editing. Now
if you only want to send the formatted information in the file you should
create a PDF file. That can be viewed with any PDF viewer such as Adobe
Reader or Foxit PDF reader http://www.foxitsoftware.com/. I use PrimoPDF
free edition to create my PDF files. http://www.primopdf.com/index.aspx

If this is not what you mean, please post with more information especially
the version of Publisher you are using.
