Default Input Mask-Change to Date/Time Format

I have a date/time field in a table for which the format
is general date. The default value is Now() which returns
for example 4/27/2004 12:31:10 PM. How can I change the
format of this field to produce these results minus the
seconds? Thanks in advance!
