Default Making Histograms - Data Labels

I want to manually make a histogram. I create a bar chart
and set the gap to zero. The problem I have is with the x-
axis data labels. They are aligned with the bars. For a
histogram they should be aligned with the tick marks (the
divisions between bars) since they indicate boundaries.

How do I move the labels??????

As far as I know, it's not possible.

The only workaround I know is to use a combination chart (Column and XY
Scatter) where the axis of the XY Scatter chart is used for labeling the
axis. It's time consuming, and I don't have step-by-step instructions.

Go right click on the x axis then click format axis, go to
scale, then make sure "Value (Y) axis crosses between
categories" is not checked.

That option puts the tick mark in the center of the bar. I think the
original poster wants a standard histogram with both tick marks and
numerical axis labels between bars.
