Grouping Vs Sorting
My report is using only 2 columns; "Supplier" and "=Sum([CountOfNCR Number])" to total NCRs per supplier. Each supplier has multiple NCRs and so I grouped to show the name only once with the total count. The problem is, once I have grouped by supplier, I automatically establish a sort by that field, (Sorting and Grouping) but I really need to sort "=Sum([CountOfNCR Number])" in descending order. I've tried everything, but to no avail. Help, please!

Grouping Vs Sorting
Your Sum of NCRs must be included in your report's record source if you want
to use it in the sorting and grouping dialog. This may involve creating a totals query that groups by Supplier and Counts the NCRs. Then add this totals query to your report's record source and join the Supplier fields. You can then add the CountOfNCRs to the grid and sort by it in the Grouping and Sorting Dialog. -- Duane Hookom MS Access MVP -- "Bryan" wrote in message ...
