Default Inserting Tect Box Question

Word 2003

When I click Insert Text Box I get a frame with the message 'Create Your
Drawing Here' How do I turn that feature off?

Tools options general uncheck 'automatically create drawing canvas'
(bottom of list).

ToolsOptionsGeneral and uncheck "Automatically create drawing canvass when
inserting AutoShapes."



If you want a drawing canvass thereafter, then InsertPictureNew Drawing.
