reformatting hard disk

Please forgive my posting this again. But this time I signed in so mvps will know I am a universal subscriber.

I'm going to reformat my two hard disks and reinstall
everything. I want to make sure I can save my mail
folders, the items in them, and my address book.
Furthermore I want to recover them after reinstalling.
By recovering them, I mean I want the folders in the same
places. What's in the indox now will be in the inbox
after reinstallation. I have a Ken folder now. I want
the Ken folder after reinstallation, in the same place.
How can I do this? If I can't do this, what's the
closest I can get?

I'll be grateful for any help.

All of the information in your folder set(s) is compressed into a single
physical file. The default location for that file is a hidden folder --
"C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\" -- and the default name is Outlook.pst. By default,
your archive folders are named Archive.pst and stored in "My Documents". You
can use any name and location you like though, as long as the file uses the
PST extension and you tell Outlook where is Use the Find/Search to locate all
the .PST files on your system (remember to include hidden files) and back them
up. You can then restore them to the same location when you rebuild the
machine.

Many of your program settings (signatures, auto-complete list, etc.) are
stored in C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook .

Also, it seems that I am not Archiving my Inbox, even though the (empty)
Inbox folder appears beneath Archiving?

I also want to apologize: I submitted a question a few minutes ago about
