Default Make outlook default task due date configurable

The old Microsoft Schedule program's default task due date was "today".
Outlook's default task due date is "none". I don't want to have to select
"today" every time I create a task and I don't want to leave it as "none".
I know there are tricky way's to change this involving macro and/or forms
programming but the instructions make my eyes glaze over. Can't you just
make the default due date configurable in some menu?

Thanks

No. It would require a custom form or other code solutioin.
