Default cand find document not saved on hard drive

I retrieved a word attachment from my online class. I typed in the document
and clicked on the "floppy disk" icon to save it. I closed the document
thinking I had it saved and cannot retrieve it. Do I have any luck finding it?

If you opened an email attachment directly, edited it, and saved it, you
saved it in a temp folder. See http://www.gmayor.com/outlook_attachments.htm
