Default Print Setup

I am tying to print a banner (a little project for my wife to use at school),
using a single sheet of paper 21cm x 87 cm.

I have selected user defined settings on the printer and created a user
defined sheet for the banner. However when it comes to print set up I keep
getting a tiled sheet format and the program will not let me print to my
selection only on separate tiled sheets. Can anyone help me get round this
default setting?

I should add I've done this many many times before but never using publisher!

I suggest you save your banner as a PDF and print from the Reader.
Microsoft has a Save as PDF add in you can download and use. I have found you
can setup the PDF to almost any size without the tiling. I assume your printer
has continuous paper capabilities.

Looks like I gave you some wrong advice. I setup your banner on my printer. The
mini-preview shows 8 sheets of paper in the print setup window, but the print
preview shows four.
