Default Publisher Cannot Complete the Operation - Send email message

I've been struggling with this msg for some time now. When clicking on File
Send E-Mail Send an message, the following error occurs. "Publisher cannot
complete the operation".

I am using Office 2K7 and Win 2K7 (x64). The first time this was tried was
after having Office 2K3 installed and then upgraded to 2K7. Uninstalled and
reinstalled multiple time and deleting the installed files aswell. Just
purchased Full version on 2K7 and the same error happens. Registry has been
cleaned aswell. Outlook is set as the default program.

Any thoughts, I don't want to have to re-image this thing. The same function
work on another PC with Office 2K7 and Win 2K7 (x64). Have also tried with
multiple user accounts and created new ones aswell.

Have you installed the service pack? There were some fixes for email.

Default Publisher Cannot Complete the Operation - Send email message

When I installed the the two service packs, I got the message that my system
already had the updates. I still can't send an email from publisher with the
newsletter I created. Same problem as the other poster here.

Are both your Outlook and Publisher the same version? Have you attempted to
compose your newsletter in Outlook? The best solution is to send your
newsletter via a PDF attachment.

Not the same version. Outlook is 2003 and Publisher is 2007. I have not tried
to compose the newsletter in Outlook because I like the templates in
Publisher. I prefer not to send it as an attachment. Since the feature is in
the Publisher program, it seems like it should work as advertised don't you
think?

It does work but both Outlook & Publisher HAVE to be the same version...and
then you are still not guaranteed your viewers will accept it or be able to
view it as you intend.

Default Publisher Cannot Complete the Operation - Send email message

After much wasted time troublshooting this issue, I have just reimaged this
pc. After installing windows 7 and office 2k7 I am now able to compose an
email from publisher with no issues. Before it stopped working, I had
upgraded to the 2010 beta, and since removed it.

There must be something lingering in the registry that is causing this issue
in the background. Hope this helps.
