Default A Template/Macro problem

I have created a template with several Ask fields, bookmarked in a number of
locations throughout the document . On my computer, an AutoNew macro updates
all the bookmarks upon filling the data into the Ask field boxes.
I moved the template into a shared location on a network and had 22 people
set up their Workgroups templates to beable to use the template. Up to this
point everything worked perfectly. Then,
I needed to furnish the template to about 100 people who are not network
users and are located in far flung locations. I addressed this by e-mailing
the template. Ask fields and bookmarks are maintained with no problem but
the macro disappears. I am at a total loss to explain why the macro
disappears, upon e-mailing the template file.

Please, a bit of advice would be most useful.

Possibly the AutoNew macro is stored in Normal.dot rather than in the
document template itself? Or it could be that the recipients have their
Macro Security set to High. Or that they are opening the template itself
rather than basing a new document on it.

Default A Template/Macro problem

Are the remote users using FileNew or are they using FileOpen?

One other possibility is that the remote users have their macro security
turned to high and they have not stored your template in a trusted location.
