Default How do I get rid of duplicate personal folders in outlook?

I recently used the Files and Settings wizard to transfer data from my old
laptop to a new one. somehow I have created duplicate copies of the personal
folders in outlook. I see the earlier suggestion about fixing the problem
with a new profile but could someone please advise exactly what this entails
and how to do it? Thanks.
PS. Other than the space problem, is there any other problem with just
leaving the duplicates in place?

Hi ATH,
if you have duplicated personal folder files,
go into the control panel und mail“, data files.
There you can delete the unused one!

Andreas
Can't believe it was that simple. Thank you so much and a Happy and
Glitch-free New Year.
