Default Headers and Footers

Hello,

I'm trying to create blank headers and footers for different pages. In other
words, I'd like to control which pages show and print headers and footers.

I'm using Office Word 2003

Thanks,

Angelo

Headers and footers are section formatting, and thus you
will need to put section breaks at each point in your
document that you want the header or footer to change (or
be blank). Make sure you turn off "Same as Previous" (on
the H/F toolbar) once you've inserted the section breaks;
this unlinks the headers and footers and allows them to
be different.

You need to be more specific. When do you want the headers and footers to be
blank? When do you want them to display contents? What contents? There are
different ways to handle this depending on what you are trying to do. See
the page on numbering front matter on the MVP FAQ site for some ideas. See
http://addbalance.com/usersguide/sections.htm for more on headers and
footers generally.
