Table Breaks
I have posted a problem on Page layout group that should
have been put on this group but just to update. I have created a template that is a table. When I come to add information into cells low down in the table Word creates a "page break" on the first page that leaves about half of the first page blank. My template does have tables within tables but I have checked all of my tables to ensure that they are designated to allow rows to break across the page. Can there be another reason for this to happen. if you go back an add further information to the top half of the table the blank area fills up it does not force more onto the second page. Sorry this is confusing, even about which group to post this to. Thanks in advance |

Table Breaks
I have a similar problem. I created a table and it seems
like WOrd created a page break at the beginning of it so that the table jumps to the next page leaving only the Table label I created on the first page. I can't figure out how to get rid of this created page break. -----Original Message----- I have posted a problem on Page layout group that should have been put on this group but just to update. Check all the paragraphs in every row to make sure they're not formatted as

Table Breaks
that works if you want to keep your rows together, ie -
all contents of a row will appear on the same page and the table can be split across two pages. what if you're not bothered by splitting the contents of a row across two pages. is it possible to split your table across two pages in the middle of a row, so that some of the row's contents are on page1 and the remaining contents are on page2? cheers in advance -----Original Message----- Check all the paragraphs in every row to make sure they're not formatted as "Keep with next." -- Suzanne S. Table Breaks
As long as you have enable "Allow rows to break across pages" for all rows
in the table, this is the effect you will get. -- Suzanne S.
