JayFreedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word While my peers stood by as witnesses, they did not -- that is until -- on saving and reopening document, voila! So, even though field is protected, must you save doc before wrapping is possible? I don't doubt you, but I've never personally seen that behavior, and I can't even guess at its cause. This sort of thing is why Bob Buckland is quoted on the opening page of word.mvps.org as saying "Word rarely misses an opprtunity to perplex." If you create a new blank document, drop in some random text and a form field, do you still see the same behavior? In the original document, if you can reproduce the problem, does it occur only on the screen, or on the printer also? Odd though it may seem, you should check the websites of the manufacturers of your video card and your printer to be sure you have the latest versions of their drivers. Word depends heavily on those drivers, and we've learned not to trust them very much. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org |
