Default Default layout guides

Is there a way to set the default layout guides so that any time I open
publisher they are preset?

Thanks!
Nancy

You could create a template. Do your layout guides, save as Publisher template.

Ah yes I guess I could do that. I would like to just be able to open it and
have the layouts there though. I could have swore Id done this before though.
Changed the default seeings.

Thanks for the idea!

You might be remembering setting default text boxes.

Set defaults for new text boxes in all Publisher publications

Maybe it was on a much older version of publisher I did it with. I just know
it opened with the correct margins and even a text box with Airal font set
inside of it ready to go. . But its been a while.

I did find a decent fix. I just created the template as you suggested but a
shortcut directly to it. I'll just do a "save as" each time so as not to save
over it.

Thanks for the input and help!
