Default what's the formula?

I have an excel sheet with seven suppliers at the top. In the firsts column are products that I use, and under each of the seven suppliers are that particular suppliers prices for each of the hundreds of items. My question is this, is there a formula that I could use to have excel tell me which of the 7 supplier prices are the lowest in another column next to the suppliers prices; perhaps using the symbol?

Don offered a good suggestion - one with which you might learn more than with just an answer. However, I'll give you a little bit more.

A B C D E
1 Company1 Company2 Company3 Lowest Price
2 #1 $1.00 $1.10 $.99 =MIN(B22) 'answer: $.99
3 #2 $2.58 $2.42 $2.69 =MIN(B33) 'answer: $2.42

By the way, are you the same DaveB that said "I hate can't do people, don't you!" in the 'Name a column' thread on 4/30? hmmm...
