Default Access2003 slower.

I upgraded to 2003 from 2000 recently by
creating a new empty database in 2003 and
then importing all the objects from the old
one.

But now some parts of Access2003 are slower,
such as the use of pop-up zoom boxes and some
actions such as "record goto new".

Opening forms seems to be slower too

I have just upgraded to a new computer with
WindowsXP pro/media centre, with 1Gb RAM & a
duel core PentiumIV.

Should Access need to be "configured" for a
new setup?

Please help, Frank

2003 has some new time-eating features. Be sure that Tools...
Options... Name Autocorrect is UNchecked (both for performance and
even more to avoid corruption). Also open each table, view its
properties, and set the Subdatasheet property to [None].
