Forcing Outlook shortcuts to appear on startup
I am running Outlook 2003 and Windows XP. I'm trying to edit my
registry to force Outlook to open in shortcuts mode using the following instructions from Slipstick.com: Go to the key HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Option s\WunderBar and change the value of the BootModule DWORD entry. These are the known valid entries: 0 Start with Mail folders displayed 5 Start with Folder List displayed 6 Start with Shortcuts list displayed Using the value 5, I can get Outlook to start in Folder List mode successfully. However, using the value 6, Outlook simply starts in Mail mode, and when I return to the Registry the value has been re-set to 0. Can anyone help me please? Many thanks. |
