XP SP3 introduced a new key. See
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;827672 However, your goal of "shared" might not be met by this. This will put the clips anywhere you want them, but they will not appear in other users' Clip Organizers. -- Thanks, Eric Lawrence Program Manager Assistance and Worldwide Services This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. They could import using the "File | Add clips to organizer | On my own" menu
command. However, these clips would not have the keywords that are included only in the .MPF Can you elaborate more on what scenario you're trying to achieve? -- Thanks, Eric Lawrence Program Manager Assistance and Worldwide Services This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. Our client would like to have a "central" point for all downloaded clipart from the MS Office Online. So that if one person gets a clip it can be available to others. One more question, when a user searches clip art and includes Web Collection - where does that search? What would be nice is if they could all share the same organizer, but that is probally not possible is it? Thanks again for all your help. |

You can create a "Shared Collection" to share an existing group of clips with multiple people, but it's a real pain to add to the shared collection later. One more question, when a user searches clip art and includes Web Collection - where does that search? It searches the ~150000 clips which are online at http://office.microsoft.com/clipart What would be nice is if they could all share the same organizer, but that is probally not possible is it? Not really, no. Sorry! Eric Lawrence Program Manager Assistance and Worldwide Services This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. |

It searches the ~150000 clips which are online at
http://office.microsoft.com/clipart So they don't need to download items from clips online? Our customer is currently going out to http://office.microsoft.com/clipart and adding itmes to the basket to be downloaded. These are the downloded items they want to "share". Are you saying that everyone already has those clips in their orgainzer? If that is that case do they need to go to clips online and add to the basket to get clips? Thanks again. |

Clip Organizer will search the website directly without using the browser so
long as the "Web collections" item is checked in the dropdown box labelled "Search in". The computer must be connected to the internet for the web collections feature to work. -- Thanks, Eric Lawrence Program Manager Assistance and Worldwide Services This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
