Change Export of report from .rtf
I am exporting a report using office links to print in word. In the export process I am losing the boarders around some fields because it is going to an .rtf format. Can you change the default (.rtf) to .doc so it retains boarders and such in the document?

Change Export of report from .rtf
Stuart:
Unfortunately the answer is no, you can't output to a .doc format. Because of the nature of Access report's graphic elements (they are rendered through the GDI subsystem) there is no way to export them. There are a couple of options 1.) Stephen Lebans has created a report utility program that will allow you to export your report to a .doc format file that contains an emf image of report, it has limited editability. You can check it out at www.lebans.com 2.) You can output your report to a Snapshot file, which will retain the graphic elements. However it is uneditable. 3.) You can print your report to a PDF file using any number of PDF printer drivers. PDF documents will retain the graphics elements and PDF files are by and large editable. -- Steve Arbaugh ACG Soft http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/attac-cg "Stuart" wrote in message ...
