Default Combo Box and subforms

I have a s simple form and sub form in access 97

I would like to place a combo box on the main form that
will select A record using the key field of the table.
Based on the record selected on the main form I would
like the related records to display on the sub form.

how do I do this?

Default Combo Box and subforms

After placing the combo and subform on your main form, right-click the
subform control and choose Properties.

Locate the LinkMasterFields property on the Data tab of the Properties box.
Type in the name of your combo here.

Beside the LinkChildFields property, enter the name of the matching field in
the subform.
