How do I sort a column using the last number in the cell?

use a helper column to extract the last number =RIGHT(A1,1) Select both columns and sort on the helper column which you can hide. -- Mike When competing hypotheses are otherwise equal, adopt the hypothesis that introduces the fewest assumptions while still sufficiently answering the question.
