Receipt of new messages delayed in view window

I also am having this problem, but with only 1 machine
out of all I support. VERY FRUSTRATING as MS web site
offers no help.
I will continue to hut for an answer and check your
posting. If I find anything, I'll update.

Installed and configured Office XP Pro and applied SP3
and security patch. When launching Outlook (Exchange
2003 host), all new messages received do not display
until I click into the view window. I have even tried
sending a message to myself and found that this behaviour
is still the same. This has only happend to 2 or 3
systems out of 100 and others receive their mail
displayed immediately.

Please advise.
