transferring outlook 2002 to new computer
Tip; use a newsreader and you can find it very quickly ;-)
Locate your pst-file and move it to your new computer. Then you can connect to it on your new computer by File- Open- Outlook Data File... Make sure you include hidden and system files and folders when searching for pst-file. By default it is located in C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\ You can also locate the file by using Rightclick the root folder (probably Outlook Today)- Properties- button Advanced- field Filename -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] www.howto-outlook.com Tips of the month: -Creating Signatures -Create an Office XP CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 3 ----- "mike johnson" wrote in message ... i want to be able to transfer my entire outlook 2002 to my new computer so all of my settings including wallpaper etc remain the way they are can i do this with my 256k usb sandisk drive posted previously can not find my message or response please help thank you. |
