will not accept password for hotmail account

can someone please help cannot access my hotmail account from OE anymore
tried the update patch 904942, still not working, problem started with last
auto updates from ms
at the time i had not installed ie7, but tried to since than & also removed
it because was locking up on me
below is the error i recieve when triing to access the hotmail account form OE
went directly to hotmail.com and i can access my account so i know its not
a typo

thanks for any advice i might obtain

Hotmail accounts will no longer work in Outlook Express. My stoped working a
few weeks a go. Try Windows Live Mail Desktop (Beta). It is not as good as OE
but it will let you check all you hotmail accounts from one program.
