binaries.dat in Access DB schema?
I am running a distributed application on a Windows 2003 server box. The app
uses an Access DB and I am curious what, if any, file size limitations there are on the binaries.dat file? Previously, I was hitting up against a 1GB limitation on the sblvc.mdb file, but I have corrected that issue. Now I just want to make sure that binaries.dat (which is now over 1GB) isn't going to halt my application. thanks, John |

An Access database using JET 4 ( Acess 2000/2002/2003) or ACE (2007) has a file size limit of 2 gig. Is you application split into a front end and back end? -- Boyd Trimmell aka HiTechCoach http://www.hitechcoach.com http://www.officeprogramming.com Message posted via http://www.accessmonster.com |
