Value Steam Mapping
I have Visio 2002 standard and want to use it for a Lean Manufacutring exercise
called Value Steam Mapping. Is there templetes specifically for this? -- PM

Value Steam Mapping
There are not, but many flowcharting and block diagram templates have most
of the shapes necessary. Thank you for letting me know there is not a template. I have looked through
the other templates and there is not the shapes or features used in VSM. Is Microsoft going to create one in the near future? This would be a selling point to this software if they did. Lean Manufacturing is a new culture that is starting to spread all over the manufacturing world. This type of tools can be very benificial to this market. Value Steam Mapping
I've seen several VSM diagrams, so I would be interested to know what shapes
are missing from Visio. Perhaps I am considering these drawing types to be very similar to flowcharts, when they really aren't.
