Loose connection to the server
I am using Outlook 2003 with a server running small
business server 2000. Since I have upgraded to 2003 I keep loosing connection with the server, every ten mins I get box opening requesting the password for it. Also anothe Issue I have is I have set up a few mail boxes in the mail boxes there are unwanted items like Tasks, contacts, calender etc.. How do I get rid of these items but at the same time I want to add a junk email folder to each of the mailboxes to reduce all the spam email and junk coming to these folders. Can you please help. Thanks in advance. Kunal |

Loose connection to the server~~~~This puzzled me too! :(
Hi, there, I have the similar situation that you have, here in my network, it often rise a message from Outlook said: "Outlook is trying to retrieve information
from "SERVERNAME"." and after a while, that message could disapear. I don't know why this often happend. After Searching MS website, it says that is one or more connection to the server is not active. someone said it could be network problem, but When this happen, I can PING the exchange server 's IP address, and could access it by Terminial Service. Is that mean the Exchange Server's Exchage Service is out of response? Or too busy? Should we use network monitor to monitor the Exchange Server's Object to see that? So is here any friend could say something about this matter Please? I'd appreciate your advice so much! Thank you! |
