Default Changing default view in Word 2003

I upgraded to Word 2003 and now whenever I open a document, it appears in
Reading Layout view.

How can I change that default to, say, Print Layout view?

See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/SaveViewAndZoom.htm for a general
answer, but for the Reading Layout view, just disable "Allow starting in
Reading Layout view" on the General tab of Tools | Options.

I have the "Allow starting in Reading Layout View" option cleared. However, my documents still open in Reading Layout View.

Ther reading layout view is particularly aggrevating when a page is formatted as landscape. In my opinion, this is a feature in search of a benefit.

Arggh!!
