Windows Vista. Outlook 2007. Remember password feature not working
Hi, I have Windows Vista and Outlook 2007, and am always prompted for the
password when I try to check my mail... I have no passwords stored in network passwords section of User accounts in control panel.. maybe Outlook should automatically create a entry over there?? but it isn't Anyway, I also I tried deleting the account, and recreating, but still the same problem is there... What can be happening here?? the problem I have is with MY ISP's email account, which is a common pop3 mail, and it's only happening in one of the computers we have at the office.. at least at this moment, hope it doesn't start happening in all our computers.. |

Windows Vista. Outlook 2007. Remember password feature not working
When I've encountered that problem in the past (hasn't happened yet with
2007, but I expect that it will sooner or later), the only solution [for me] was to create a new mail profile (if you only have one email account, it's not quite such a pain, but I have 10, so it's never fun). With Outlook *not* running, click Start - Control Panel - Mail, etc. -- Herb Tyson MS MVP Author of the Word 2007 Bible Blog: http://word2007bible.herbtyson.com Web: http://www.herbtyson.com "averied" wrote in message ...
